The room, although unpretentious, met our expectations with its cleanliness and essential comforts. The convenient bike path leading to the hotel was a pleasant surprise, offering a smooth journey for cycling enthusiasts. However, guests should note the early construction noise that may disrupt the mornings.Despite our decision not to partake in the breakfast due to its steep price, the option of borrowing a bike added a nice touch to explore the serene surroundings. The serene setting and thoughtful amenities like billiard tables and board games made our stay engaging and relaxing. Travelers on a budget will appreciate the competitive rates at Die Gurkenscheune, balancing affordability with a hint of luxury.
